1. These terms

SiteAudit is a free Chrome extension provided by Web Design Products. By installing or using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension.

2. What SiteAudit is

SiteAudit examines the web page you are currently viewing and reports on its SEO, accessibility and technical characteristics, giving each page a score out of 100.

It is a convenience tool. It is not a compliance service, and using it does not make a website compliant with any law, standard or guideline.

3. Free of charge

SiteAudit is free to use. There is no account, no subscription and nothing to pay. We may add optional paid features in future, but anything currently free will remain free.

4. Accuracy — please read this

• Checks are performed on a single page at the moment you click, not across an entire site.
• A passing score is not a guarantee of search ranking, accessibility compliance, or correctness of any kind.
• A failing score does not necessarily mean something is broken — automated checks can misread valid markup, and context matters.
• Always verify findings yourself before making significant changes to a website.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• use SiteAudit unlawfully, or to harass or single out others
• present its output as a formal accessibility or security audit
• resell it, or rebrand it as your own product

6. Intellectual property

The SiteAudit name, its icon and its content belong to Web Design Products.

You retain all rights to the websites you audit. SiteAudit does not upload, copy or store any part of them.

7. Our responsibility to you

SiteAudit is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and free of charge.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the extension or from reliance on its output — including lost profits, lost opportunities, or damage to a website caused by changes made in response to its findings. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Availability and changes

We may update, change or withdraw the extension at any time. We may also update these terms; the date above will change when we do.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
